Holiday Season 2025
A throwback to Alvin & Sherrie Mashburn’s vow renewal inside of the Pavilion a few years ago.
Our busy season has come to an end and we are winding down for the holidays this year. With Christmas at the Farm on hold until 2026, we instead focused on supporting local non-profits and helping host a winter wonderland llama show for our 2025 Christmas season. Christmas trees, lights, and decor have been hung up around the venue, though not as intensely as when we host Christmas at the Farm that’s for sure. Our team was grateful to have a bit of an easier Christmas prep time than usual. We were also able to do our very first black Friday sale and offer majorly discounted Christmas party packages inside of the new 609 indoor reception hall for the month of December 2025. We are so happy to finally have a heated indoor space to provide during the colder months!
Event coordinator, Cassidy, is set to start her maternity leave in just a few days so farm manager, Ian, will be taking over answering our phone messages and emails while Mrs. Sherrie and Mrs. Barbara conduct tours and client visits until March 2026. Our family and team here at Willow Tree couldn’t be more excited to welcome a new member to the crew! Sweet goat, Buffy, is also expecting a new arrival come Christmas time this year and our two newest baby llamas that were born on Halloween are thriving! Stacy has named the llama boys Dean and Sam after the show Supernatural. We are simply bursting at the seams with new life this winter all around!
Owners and developers of the farm, Alvin and Sherrie, just celebrated yet another incredible anniversary on December 7th. Their love continues to thrive and grow Willow Tree into the stuff of fairytales daily. We contribute a lot of the magic of this place to their incredible relationship and strength as a couple over the years and hope it rubs off on every bride and groom that takes those same vows here. It’s amazing what great teamwork, unwavering support, and never-ending devotion can do to impact so many lives not just in your own family but your community when you really grow together for over 50 years.

What’s next on the agenda for Willow Tree Farms? A busy spring season once the weather warms back up that’s for sure! We are looking forward to partnering with Desiree Hulsey from Magic Wand Candy Co. again to bring you another public event, Ringgold’s First Annual Peach Cobbler Festival. You can follow along for updates in our Public Events tab here on our website or in the events tab for the festival on our FaceBook page. We have already had a ton of incredible vendors register and will be confirming their attendance and announcing some of the fun we have planned come January. Want to compete and show us what you’ve got with your family’s peach cobbler recipe? You can sign-up for the bake-off through a link in the Public Events tab here on willowtreefarms.com.
We’re expecting a laid back January and February but will then be resuming business as usual come March 2026. With plans to update our vendor list and bring more small family-owned businesses on board to assist with private events, new rental inventory additions making their way to our rental catalog, and new and old public events coming back around with our coordinator back in action. So keep an eye out on our socials to stay in the know and get some behind the scenes updates before anyone else!
Planning an event next year or in 2027? Our calendar is certainly filling up fast. Almost half of our 2026 weekends are already reserved as of the end of 2025. So it’s never to early to start planning to make sure we still have your prefered event dates available! The best way to contact us is always by email or text. You can reach out to events@willowtreefarms.com or text Cassidy directly at 423-400-3031 anytime.
